Why I am the Best

Does anyone of us ever try to think, why I am the best? Each one of us is a gem meant to spread  everywhere its lustre. Each one of us carries within himself/herself  a treasure house of values, feelings, emotions and spiritual strength that makes him or her unique. It's not only our DNA or genes that  make us what we are. The qualities that we carry within us also shape the vision that directs our footsteps in our journey of the world. Why don't we value our uniqueness? It's because of the prevailing world-views  offered by the dominant classes of the rich and powerful that deny us the possibility of being great. If everyone is great, or thinks in that fashion, who will invest the so-called celebrities with an aura of greatness?  Obviously, the rich, powerful and the celebs have a vested interest in keeping others in awe of their supposed greatness. Strip the celebrities of their aura given to them by the fawning followers, and they are just ordinary mortals like the rest of us.
Greatness is attuned to greatness, while littleness seeks littleness for its companion.When you enter a big temple or a cathedral, your inner being starts expanding with the size of the architecture, because of your greatness. But if you cherish a feeling of littleness, you start feeling  smaller as you keep walking within the huge structure.Let us make the best of what we are.
